Natalie Lynne Hoover Sawdy and Chad Aaron Hoffman, both of Windber, Pa., were married Dec. 4, 1999 at Oakland United Methodist Church, Johnstown.
The bride is the daughter of Nancy Widney of Orrstown and Roger Hoover of Newville. The groom is the son of David and Arlene Hoffman ot Davidsville.
The matron of honor was Robin Tolan, the bride's sister, of Bloserville. Bridesmaids were Nicole Blosser and Melissa Sain, both of Newville. Junior bridesmaid was Jessica Sawdy, daughter of the bride, of Windber.
Austin and Joshua Tolan, nephews of the bride, of Bloserville, were the candle lighters. The guest book attendant was Sue Blasko of Davidsville. Keith Blasko of Davidsville served as best man. Ushers were Scott Thomas of Davidsville and Shawn Zach of Newville.
Music was provided by organist Gary McClelland and soloist Kim Baker. The Rev. Dr. James Laughrey performed the double-ring ceremony.
A reception was held at the Ambassador Ballroom in Windber.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Arizona and now reside in Windber.
The bride is a Big Spring High School graduate and attended Shippensburg University and Harrisburg Area Community College. She graduated from Regents College, University of New York with an associate of science in nursing degree and is employed at Redstone Presbyterian Home, Johnstown.
The groom graduated from Johnstown Vo-Tech in 1990 and Ohio Diesel Technical Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. He is employed by Schneider National, Bedford, as a diesel mechanic.
