Mrs. Edna P. Haney and Harold G. Hanchett, both of Phoenix, recited vows Friday in Bethel Methodist Church. For her evening wedding, the bride wore a powder blue linen dress. Her flowers were orchids. Attending the vows were Messrs. and Mmes. Fred H. Haney and Hanchett Jr., all of Los Angeles. A family dinner was held in the Arizona Club, of which Mr. Hanchett is a member. The couple will reside after April 15 at 540 E. Rose Lane. Mrs. Hanchett is affiliated with the League of Women Voters.

Mrs. Edna P. Haney Hanchett, 89, formerly a resident of Hammond, died in the Alhambra Lutheran Retirement Home, Alhambra, Calif. Services were Saturday in the Turner and Stevens Mortuary, Alhambra. She died Thursday. Mrs. Hanchett is survived by two sons, Joseph K. Haney of Cupertino. Calif., and Fred H. Haney of Downey, Calif.
