1. Newspaper: Elwood Free Press: Boy Burned, 3 Nov 1898, Elwood, Madison, IN. ¹ BOY BURNED. Jefferson Beher's Little Son in a Precarious Condition.
The five year old son of Jefferson Beher who lives north of the city near Leisure, met with a frightful accident this morning. The little fellow's clothes caught fire and before the flames could be extinguished the clothing was nearly all burned off. The boy's flesh was fearfully burned and his condition is such that he can bardly survive. It was a most deplorable accident. Jeffereon is a brother of Ed, Sam and Tilden Beher, of this city.
