Seventh St. died last evening in the Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport. Mrs. Houston fell about two weeks ago and was admitted in the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. She was transferred Tuesday to the Divine Providence Hospital.
Born Aug. 19, 1915, in Watsontown, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Rebecca Dry Bucher. She lived in Watsontown all of her life. She was a 1933 graduate of Watsontown High School and a 1935 graduate of the Jersey Shore Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed for more than 20 years in the Montgomery Mills, Montgomery.
Her first husband, George Matchette, preceded her in death. Her second husband, Homer L. Houston, died in 1973. Mrs. Houston is survived by one sister, Mrs. George Sudol of Lewisburg. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Harmony Cemetery, Milton, by the Rev. Donald Kitchell, pastor of the Revival Tabernacle Church, West Milton. There will be no visitation.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Herbert E. Barr Funeral Home, Watsontown.
