5. Obituary: The News-Journal: obituary of William B. Pyfer on 11 Aug 1920 in Lancaster, Lancaster, PA. ⁴ William B. Pyfer of 20 North Plum street, died at his home on Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock. He was employed as a machinist in the Lancaster Iron Works, having learned his trade with his uncle, W. C. Beecher, of Eden. He is survived by his wife and the following children: M. H. Pyfer, of this city; Agnes A., at home; Laura E., wife of W. W, MacDonnell, of Philadelphia, and Mary E., wife of W. K. Coxey, of this city. He is also survived by one brother, Samuel M. Pyfer, of Philadelphia. He was a member of tihe First Presbyterian church. Funeral Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at his late home. Interment in Greenwood cemetery.
