1. Census in 1900 in Decatur, DeKalb, GA. ⁴ Alfred S. Bucher, 33, born ? 1867, was married for eight years to wife Ethel B., 30, born Feb 1870. She had given birth by 1900 to two children: George, 7, Jan 1893; and Louise, 5, born May 1895. Ethel and her parents were born in Georgia, as were the children. Alfred and his parents were born in Pennsylvania. He owned his home.

On the preceding page 30 of the Census is his brother, John Bucher (spelled as Booker by the census taker.).

2. Census in 1910 in Winter Park, Orange, FL. ⁵ Alfred S. Bucher, age 43, was married for 18 years to wife Ethel B., who had 2 children, both living in 1910. In their household is son George C., 17; and Louise, 14. Everyone was born in Georgia, except Alfred who was born in Pennsylvania. Alfred is a traveling salesman selling machinery. He was renting his home.

George married Kathleen Hill. (Kathleen Hill was born on 2 Aug 1893,² died on 2 May 1982 in Maitland, Orange, FL ² and was buried in Maitland: Maitland Cemetery, Orange, FL ².)
