Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. The value of Abraham's real estate is $2,000. Living next door is his son Abraham (visit 16) and also nearby are the Brosius and Geist families who intermarry with Schneiders. The census record was recorded on 1 Nov 1850.

2. Census in 1860 in Upper Mahanoy Twp., Northumberland, PA. The census listed Abraham Snyder (73, retired from age) living with his wife Susanna (71); and Eliza (5).

3. Census in 1870 in Upper Mahanoy Twp., Northumberland, PA. The census listed Abraham Snyder (age 82) living on the farm of his son, Daniel (42).

Abraham Schneider, son of Johann Nicholas, born Sept. 4, 1788, died Feb. 8, 1873. He lived south of his brother Jacob, in the same township, and his farm continued in the family, being owned until recently by his grandson, A. Morris Snyder. His wife, Susanna (Schweitzer), born May 14, 1790, died Jan. 23, 1870, and both are buried at St. John's Church, in Upper Mahanoy Township. They had children as follows: Abraham (died April 18, 1894, aged 76 years, one month, five days; his wife, Susanna, died Nov. 13, 1898, aged eighty years, four months, eighteen days), George (who moved away from this region), John S., Daniel S., Simon, William (lived in Allentown, Pa.) and Catharine (married George Kahler).


Abraham married Susanna Schweitzer about 1810 in Lykens Twp.: Klinger's Church, Dauphin, PA.1 (Susanna Schweitzer was born on 14 May 1790 in , , PA,1 7 died on 23 Jan 1870 in Upper Mahanoy Twp., Northumberland, PA 1 7 and was buried in Leck Kill: St. John's Lutheran and Reformed Church, Northumberland, PA 1 5 7.)
