The marriage of Miss Marcia Rae Mentzer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Mentzer, 355 W. Carpenter Ave., Myerstown, and Glenn Morris Bicher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Bicher, Myerstown RD 2, is taking place at three o'clock this afternoon.
The Rev. Horace S. Sills is officiating at the double ring ceremony in the United Church of Christ, Myerstown. Nuptial music is being provided by Mrs. Ralph Spangler, organist, and Brice Donley, soloist.
Mr. Mentzer is giving his daughter in marriage. Her floor length satin gown is styled along empire lines, with an A-line skirt and scoop neckline. It is trimmed with lilies of the valley, as is her satin pillbox, to which a floor length veil is attached. She is carrying a white orchid and lilies of the valley bouquet.
Maid of honor Is Miss Kathleen DeLuca, who is wearing a yellow chiffon floor length gown. The bridesmaid, Miss Carol Himmelberger, and junior bridesmaid, Miss Cynthia Miller, the bride's neice, are wearing matching gowns in nile green. All are carrying pompons.
Harold Lutz is best man and ushers are James Yiengst and Gary Bicher, nephew of the groom.
After a reception for 150 guests in the church social hall the couple will take a honeymoon trip to Ocean City, N.J. They will reside in Myerstown.
The bride is a graduate of Eastern County High School and is employed by Dr. A. A. Nagle and Dr. J. E. Marshall.
A graduate of Myerstown High School, the groom is a member of the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Dix, N.J.
