The deceased died seized of a messuage, plantation, and tract of land (a house, farm, and parcel of land) located in Codorus Township, York County.
Size: Forty-four acres and thirty poles (neat measure, more or less).
Adjoining Landowners (Boundaries): Michael Sable, John Stamp, John A. Swartzbaugh, Samuel M. Bollinger, and John S. Wade (deceased).
The petitioners (heirs and their representatives) asked the Court to appoint three individuals to manage the disposition of the real estate:
Appointees: John Snyder of P., Daniel Brodick, and Henry Rebert.
Requested Action: To first attempt to make partition (divide the land) among the heirs and representatives according to the laws of the Commonwealth, provided such division could be made without prejudice to or spoiling the whole. If partition could not be made, then to value and appraise the property and report their findings to the Court according to law.
The facts were sworn to and subscribed by Michael Sabel (one of the guardians) before the court on the same day.
