Your petitioner, therefore, prays your Honors lo grant him a License for the same the ensuing year, commencing on the 2d Monday of April next, as in duty bound, he will ever pray, &c.

Beecher [handwriting could be Bucher] was a tavern keeper, age 41, living with Catharine, 39; Grorge [George], 16, barkeeper; Mary, 12; and daughter Hirametta, 9. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. His real estate was worth $1,200. The post office was Carlisle, PA. The next name is George Swigert, occupation "gentleman", 71, who is Catherine's father, followed by his son William F. Swigert, 57, farmer, and his family: Eve, 40; son Samuel, 19; Henry, 14; Augustus, 10; and Catharine, 8.

Beecher of North Middleton township Cumberland County Pennsylvania do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all wills by me at any time heretofore made.

I direct all my just debts and funeral expenses to be paid as soon after my death as possible. As to all the rest and residue of my estate, both personal and mixed, I give devise and bequeath the same to my executor hereinafter named in trust nevertheless that he will sell the same, with full power and authority and deliver a deed or deeds to the purchaser or purchasers of the real estate, and after the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses, as above directed, to divide the balance of the proceeds thereof amongst my three children, to wit, George T. Beecher, Mrs. Mary Jane Gibson and Hirametta C. Morette in equal shares.

And lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my son George T. Beecher to be the executor of this my last will and testament: Witness my hand and seal this 4th day of April, A.D. 1893.

Penna deceased, who being duly sworn according to law, depose and say, that they were present and saw and heard the testator, Jonathan C. Beecher, sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the same as and for his last Will and Testament and that at the time of his so doing he was of a sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, to the best of their observation, knowledge and belief, and that they subscribed their names as witnesses at his request in his presence, and in the presence of each other sworn and subscribed before me this 8th day of March AD 1895.
