Edward Shorb was born inear Littlestown. He was a son of John Shorb, who married Miss Mary Beecher, of Littlestown. About 40 years ago Mr. Shorb married Miss Sallie Sneeringer, daughter of Samuel Sneeringer of near Conewago Chapel, but the union remained childless. His death was the result of injuries received from a fall at his home several months ago. Edward married Sarah Joanna Catherine Sneeringer on 27 Dec 1859 in McSherrystown, Adams, PA.1 (Sarah Joanna Catherine Sneeringer was born on 14 Mar 1835 in , Adams, PA 7, christened on 23 Mar 1835 in Conewago Twp.: Conewago Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Adams, PA, died on 25 Aug 1910 in McSherrystown, Adams, PA 7 8 and was buried on 28 Aug 1910 in Conewago Twp.: Conewago Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Adams, PA 7 8.) |
