Newspaper: Altoona Tribune: A Pleasant Birthday Party, 4 Feb 1892, Altoona, Blair, PA. 5 The birthday anniversary of Miss Cora Beecher was celebrated in a particular happy manner last evening at her home, Fourth avenue and Lloyd street. The evening was spent in playing games and conversation played a prominent part of the evening. The refreshments which were served were of the most toothsome kind and altogether the occassion was one long to be remebered by all who were there. Those present were: Misses Mattie Young, Edna McCurdy, Sallie Page, Maggie Gifens, Etta Dillen, Ida Smeltser, Maggie McCurdy, Cora Beecher, and Messrs. W. H. Hammaker, Bert. Tokes, Christ Selwitz, Harvey Smeltser, Harry Wilson, Robert McCurdy, Walter McGlathery, John Hardon, Frank Taylor and Samuel Black. |
