4. Obituary: Miltonian on 2 Jun 1923 in Milton, Northumberland, PA. ³ Mrs. Sarah Catherine Bucher died Tuesday evening at her home on Walnut street. She had been in ill health for the past year.
For eight weeks she was under the care of a trained nurse and for two weeks she was confined to her bed, Death was due to paralysis. Mrs. Bucher was the widow of the late William Bucher. She was born at Billmeyer's Dam at Mexico, sixty-four years ago. Practically her entire life was spent in Milton.
She was a member of the Evangelical Church. Surviving are a son, George Bucher, of Northumberland; one daughter, Miss Mary E. Bucher, at home; one brother, Charles Kelley, of Pottsgrove, and one sister, Mrs. Alice Derr, of Maple street. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from her late home with Rev. D. L. Kepner, of Northumberland, in charge. Interment will be made in the Milton cemetery.

Sarah married William Henry Bucher, son of Samuel Joseph Bucher and Henrietta Rebecca Acor.
