The death of William H. Bucher occurred at his home on Duke street, near Second, on Monday morning after being ill for about two months with a complication of disease He took his bed on Thursday of last week. Up until three years ago Mr. Bucher had been a resident of Milton, when he moved to Northumberland and took a position in the Forging Works.
He was 57 years old. He left his wife, two children at home, and five brothers. The deceased was a member of the local United Evangelical church, and of the lodges of the I. 0. 0.
F., Improved Order of Heptasophs and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Milton. The funeral was held yesterday. A short service was conducted by Rev. H. C. Guthrie at the house in this place in the morning, and then the remains were taken to Milton, where another service was held and interment was made.
