6. Obituary: The Banner: obituary of Mrs. Oren Beher on 10 Jun 1921 in Knightstown, Henry, IN, USA. ¹² Mrs. Oren Beher, nearly seventy-one years of age, died at her home in Carthage Friday afternoon of Bright's disease. She had been ill since last November.
Mrs. Beher was a widely known woman and had an acquaintance throughout Rush county. She and her husband and family formerly lived in Jackson township but moved to Carthage about nineteen years ago where they had since resided.
Mrs. Beher was a member of the East Street Christian church in Carthage and the Rebekah lodge also of Carthage.
The deceased is survived by her husband and seven children who are as follows: Mrs. Ola Stevens of Knightstown, Tosso Beher of near Carthage, Howard E. Beher of Elwood, Mrs. Robert Holt of Rushville, Cleve Beher of Anderson, Mrs. Abie Overleese of Arlington and Herbie Beher of Carthage. She also leaves one sister Mrs James Rhodes of Frankton and two brothers, Frank Smith of Elwood and Marshall Smith of Kokomo.
The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon burial being made in Glencove cemetery, C. F. Baxter in charge.

Laura married Oren Beher, son of Samuel D. Beher and Eliza Ann Davis, on 21 Jan 1869 in , Rush, IN.¹ (Oren Beher was born on 16 Jun 1839 in , Rush, IN,¹⁷ died on 21 Apr 1932 in Jackson Township, Rush, IN, USA ^{2 11 17} and was buried on 23 Apr 1932 in Knightstown: Glen Cove Cemetery, Henry, IN, USA ^{2 11 17}.)
