He was born at Adamstown, Lancaster county. He was a well-known local carpenter and wheelright. He is survived by his son, Benjamin P. Biecher, a local groceryman, and also two brothers, John Biecher, of Illinois, and Benjamin Biecher, of Oklahoma.

He was seventy-nine years of age. He was born at Adamstown, Lancaster county. The deceased was a widower, his wife having preceded him in death many years ago. He is survived by his son, Benjamin P. Biecher, of Lebanon.

Rev. W. B. Happel, pastor of the First Reformed Church, this afternoon at two o'clock officiated at funeral services over the body of the late George Beicher, of this city, services at the house, 723 Walnut street, were followed by interment at Mt. Lebanon cemetery. A large number of relatives and friends attended.


George married Lavina Bechtold, daughter of John Bechtold and Frances "Fanny" Woomer, in 1855.1 (Lavina Bechtold was born on 26 Oct 1832 in , Lebanon, PA 5 28 29 30, christened on 20 Dec 1832 in Jackson Twp.: Trinity Tulpehocken Reformed Church, Lebanon, PA,29 died on 5 Jun 1910 in Lebanon, Lebanon, PA 28 30 and was buried on 8 Jun 1910 in Lebanon: Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, PA 28.)
