2. Obituary: Journal Times: obituary of Mary Ann Beecher on 21 Oct 1930 in Racine, Racine, WI. 4 Union Grove, Wis. Oct 20-funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Rohde-Strouf Funeral home for Mrs. Mary Ann Beecher. Dr. Frank N. Dexter, pastor of the Congregational church, conducted the service and music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. T.W. Griffiths and Miss Meredith using "Refuge" and "Rest for the Weary" Pallbearers were chosen from the grandsons of deceased and included John and Ortin Fish, Lyle and Ernest Johnson, Leslie Payne and LaVerne Krohn. Out-of-town relatives present were Mrs. Mattie Sumpter, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Payne, LaVerne Krohn and family, Mrs. Will Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Helm, Mrs. L. Higgins and daughter, all of Racine. Mrs. Ed Stevens and son, Harold, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Silas Fish, Lyle Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. John Fish, Mr. and Mrs. Ortin Fish, Lake Geneva, Ernest Johnson, Kenosha; Mrs. Rose Blackburn, Burlington; Mr. and Mrs. Ross Beecher, Lyons; and son James, East Troy; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Beecher, Raymond and Lloyd, Franksville.
