16. Obituary: Lebanon Daily News: obituary of George M. Bicher on 9 Aug 1975 in Lebanon, Lebanon, PA. 9 George M. Bicher, husband of the late Emma Wilhelm Bicher who died in 1967, died yesterday in the C. H. Mengel Health Care Center, Myerstown, were he had been residing. He was 69.
Born in Myerstown, he was a son of the late Morris H. and C. Emma Spangler Bicher. He was retired from Farr's Nursey, Womelsdorf, where he had worked for 30 years as a landscape architect. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Womelsdorf; Elks Lodge of Lebanon; American Legion Post 55, Myerstown; the Goodwill Fire Co., Myerstown; the Cleona Fire Co., and the Karko Fishing Club, Myerstown.
He served in the US Army from 1931 to 1945 in the Engineering Co. C. 31st Division. He served int he European and African Theatre as a staff sargeant.
He is survived by a sister, Phyllis Barrett, Arcadia, Calif., and several neices and nephews.

17. Newspaper: Lebanon Daily News: Funeral of George M. Bicher, 12 Aug 1975, Lebanon, Lebanon, PA. 13 Services were held this afternoon in the Kercher Funeral Home, Mystertown, for George M. Bicher, husband of the late Emma Wilhelm Bicher, Evangelical Congregational Retirement Village, Myerstown. The Rev. Harry Ferio and the Rev. Kenneth Texter officiated.
Interment was in the Womelsdorf Cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas Wilhelm, J. Ray Bickel, Allen M. Bomberger and Glen and Jack Bicher.


George married Emma Unger Wilhelm, daughter of Thomas Morgan Wilhelm and Annie J. Unger. (Emma Unger Wilhelm was born on 21 Dec 1903 in Womelsdorf, Berks, PA,19 21 22 died on 4 Apr 1967 in Womelsdorf, Berks, PA 19 21 22 and was buried on 6 Apr 1967 in Womelsdorf: Union Cemetery, Berks, PA 19 21.)


George next married Sally Ella Kreider, daughter of Irvin K. Kreider and Lizzie S. Krall, on 13 Nov 1969 in , Lancaster, PA.1 2 The marriage ended in divorce on 19 Jan 1973. (Sally Ella Kreider was born on 26 Jul 1916 in S. Lebanon Twp., Lebanon, PA,23 24 died on 20 Jun 2000 in Lebanon, Lebanon, PA 23 24 and was buried in Cornwall Twp.: Cornwall Cemetery, Lebanon, PA 24.)
