Next door is Robert's brother, Benjamin Smith, 24, with his family, and Jacob Beacher whose son Benjamin married Mary Ann's sister, Sarah Jane.

2. Census in 1880 in New Castle, Schuylkill County, PA. ⁷ The 1880 census recorded Robert C. Smith, laborer, 36, lviing with wife Mary A., 35; Carrie M., 10; Robert C., 8; Amry R., 7; Florence L, 5; Emily J., 3; Heber B., 2, and William E., 3 months born in Feb. 1880. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania except Robert Sr.'s parents were born in England.

Two Prominent Young People Bound In the Bonds of Wedlock at the Residence of Mr. R. C. Smith.
A very pretty wedding took place at noon to-day at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Smith, 301 West Lloyd Street. The principals were Miss Carrie M. Smith, until recently one of the efficient public school teachers of this borough, and Mr. W. H. Kerslake, shipper at the P. & R. C. & I. Co.'s Maple Hill colliery.
The parlor, where the ceremony took place, and the adjoining dining room were elaborately decorated with plants, vines and flowers and in one corner or the parlor was an artistically arranged mound of rocks and moss, which had a very pretty effect.
The bridesmaid was Miss Mattle Linton, of Mahanoy City, and Mr. John Hough, of town, the groomsman. Misses Ethel Hollopeter and Nelda Jacobs were the flower girls. Miss Emily Smith, sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor. The wedding march was rendered by Miss Mame Wasley and Rev. William Powick, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, officiated at the ceremony. The brlde was attired in a white silk Bengollne, which was handsomely trimmed, and she carried a small white bible. The bridegroom wore conventional black.
The bridal party left town on the 4:10 Pennsylvania train for the bridal tour, which will include visits to Philadelphia, New York, New Rochelle and Ocean Grove.

Addis, of Reading; Mr. and Mrs. H. Beecher and Mrs. B. Templin, of Mahanoy City; Mr. and Mrs. William Jacobs, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. William Jacobs Jr., Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Broughall, Mr. and Mrs. R.
