The funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Among these in attendance at the funeral were W. J. Jacobs, Benjamin Beacher and daughter, and R. C. Smith and wife, of town.

Mrs. Mary Jacobs died at 7:30 o'clock last evening, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Beecher, at No. 306 East Seventh street. Deceased was 85 years old, and death was due to her extreme old age and its consequent infirmities. She was highly esteemed by all. There are two surviving children, Mrs. Beecher of town, and Jacob J. Jacobs, of Shenandoah.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed. Undertaker McConnell is in charge.

Mrs. Mary Jacobs, widow of the late William Jacobs, died at Mt. Carmel, last evening, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hiram Beacher.
She was 85 years and 7 months old, having been born September 23, 1822, and was a resident of Shenandoah from 1869 until 1904.
She was a member of the Methodist church, town, and was held in high esteem by a large circle of friends, whose sympathy is with the bereaved children.
Mrs. Jacobs is survived by three daughters, Mrs. R. C. Smith, of town; Mrs. Hiram Beacher, of Mt. Carmel; Mrs. I. N. Addis, of Reading, and one son, W. J. Jacobs, of town.
Due notice of the funeral will be given tomorrow.

The late Mrs. Mary Jacobs, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ettie Beecher, Tuesday night will be buried tomorrow. Services will be held at the house at 9:00 o'clock by Rev. George King, pastor of the Methodist church, and the funeral cortege will leave at 10:00 o'clock for the Lehigh Valley train. Interment will be made at Shenandoah.

Mrs. Jacobs reached the advanced age of 85 years, 7 months and five days. Her husband died five years ago. She had seven children, the following four surviving: Mrs. C. R. Smith, Shenandoah; Mrs. Beecher, of town; Mrs. Newton Addis, of Reading; and W. J. Jacobs, of Shenandoah. There are thirty-two living grand-children, and forty-three great-grand children. For sixty-five years she was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
