3. Obituary: on 30 Mar 2016 in Jim Thorpe, Carbon, PA. ⁵ Mrs. Felicia H. Dunlap, 99, of Bear Creek Lakes, Jim Thorpe, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, in her home, surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Robert B. Dunlap, who died Sept. 9, 2009.
Born in Shenandoah, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Victoria (Baranak) Twardzik.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Jim Thorpe.
She loved her family and enjoyed traveling and taking walks around Bear Creek Lakes.
Surviving are a son, Gerald Richard, and his wife, Beulah Ann, of Grundy, VA; a daughter, Mary Sue Ackerman of Jim Thorpe; 10 grandchildren, Donald Brady, and his wife, Susan, Robert Brady, and his wife, Lorraine, Chris Brady, Jeffrey Dunlap, and his wife, Anna, Michael Dunlap, and his wife, Tonya, Mary, wife of John Gaither, Clifford, Paul Jr., Martin and Christine Dunlap; 18 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by two sons, Robert B. Jr. and Paul J.
Service: Memorial Mass 11:15 a.m. Saturday, April 2, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 526 North St., Jim Thorpe, with the Rev. Francis J. Baransky officiating. Interment, Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Penn Forest Twp. Memorial visitation 11-11:15 a.m. Saturday in the church. Arrangements by Melber Funeral Home, 524 Center St., Jim Thorpe. Contributions in her name may be made to St. Joseph's Church or St. John's Lutheran Church, Sixth and North streets, Jim Thorpe, PA 18229.
