Marriage vows were exchanged yesterday at three o'clock in the Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, Drexel Hill, between Miss Suzanne Banks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Bower Banks III of Springfield, Pa., and Andrew Henry Vogel III, son of Mrs. Andrew Vogel and the late Andrew Vogel, 1392 Hollywood Drive.
The Rev. Gardner Hodder performed the double ring ceremony and Miss Shirley L. Snader was soloist. Matron of honor was Mrs. Janet Laird Braun of Edgewood, Md.
Best man was Jack R. Lesher. Richard M. Ludwig and Daniel B. Banks, brother of the bride, Wilmington, Del., were ushers.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a gown of white embroidered organdy. Her bandeau type headpiece held a veil and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink roses.
The matron of honor wore an aqua, waltz-length gown of crystallette and a flowered bandeau headdress with a bouquet of pink carnations and white roses.
Following a reception at home of the bride's parents, the couple left for a trip to the Chesapeake Bay.
The mother of the bride chose a grey, printed silk dress, and a pink rose corsage. A blue dress with white accessories and a pink rose corsage was worn by the mother of the bridegroom.
The bride is a graduate of Upper Darby High School and Wilson College.
A graduate of Manheim Township High School and Franklin and Marshall College, the bridegroom is employed as an accountant for William V. Dorwart, certified public accountant.

2. Obituary: DeBord Snyder Funeral Home on 26 Jan 2024 in Lancaster, Lancaster, PA. 4 Andrew Henry Vogel III of Lancaster, died on January 26th, 2024. Born in Lancaster in 1933, he was the son of Andrew H. Vogel Jr. and H. Bertha Ranck Vogel.
Drew is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy Ridgway Vogel. In addition to his wife, he is survived by their four children: Mark Vogel and his wife Cynthia, Christopher Vogel and his wife Janet, Stephen Vogel and his wife Ana, and Jill Sorg and her husband, Byron. He leaves behind seven grandchildren: Jennifer and her husband Samuel, John, Michael and his wife Emma, Caroline, Andrew, Carly and her husband Daniel and Sadie, and four great grandchildren: Silas, Calvin, Josiah, and Lila. He is also survived by his beloved Boston Terrier, Rosie. Drew was preceded in death by his first wife, Suzanne Banks Vogel, who died in 1974.
Drew graduated from Manheim Township High School in 1951 and was named as an Outstanding Alumnus in 2006. He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 1955 and was a Certified Public Accountant. He retired from Dorwart Andrew & Company, CPAs as managing partner following a 60 year career. He was a fifth generation member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, where he was a member of the vestry and a chimer for 40 years, having transposed hymns for the peel of the bells.
Drew was a former member of the Hamilton Club and a 35-year member and secretary of the Wash Day Club. He also dedicated years of service to a wide variety of organizations. He was a member and former Chief of the Lancaster Pirates. He served on the boards of the Citizens Scholarship Foundation, The Wheatland Chorale, and the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra. He was the former President of the Boys & Girls Club, former Treasurer of the Boys & Girls Club Foundation, former President of the Occupational Development Center, and gave 21 years of service as treasurer of the Lancaster City Police Foundation.
Drew was known for his character, his integrity, for his dry wit, and for love for his family, friends and clients. He and his family traveled extensively by car and by motorhome and Nancy and Drew spent many years traveling to Bermuda where they were members of the Coral Beach Club. They also enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay on their trawler, Brisa.

Andrew next married Nancy Ridgway in 1974.
