Merlin E. Bucher, 49, of 446 Shakespeare avenue, Milton, died Williamsport Hospital at 11:15 o'clock Wednesday morning. He had been a patient in the hospital for more than two weeks, and was in ill health for some time previous due to a heart condition.
Owner and operator of the Milton Grain Elevator, Filbert street, he was born in Milton, July 24, 1900.
He was the son of Mrs. Matilda Bucher, 305 Walnut street, and the late John W. Bucher. Mr. Bucher was a member of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church.
Surviving are his wife, Esther N. Bucher, his mother, and a son, Robert Bucher, at home.
Services will be held at 1:30 o'-clock Saturday afternoon from the Robert L. Kramm funeral home with Rev. Nevin E. Danner, pastor of St. John's Church, officiating. Burial will be in Harmony cemetery. Friends may call at the parlors Friday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.

Merlin married Esther N. Dressler, daughter of John Adam Dressler and Mary Magdalena Miller. (Esther N.
