John Nicholas Bucher, died Friday night at 10:30 o'clock at his home, 273 Walnut street. Mr. Bucher suffered a stroke about three months ago, and had never recovered from its effects.
The deceased was 57 years of age. He was a member of the Reformed church and the Modern Woodmen of America.
Surviving him are his widow, one son, Merlin E., at home, and three brothers, Daniel, of Pottsgrove; Harvey, of Watsontown; and David, of Philadelphia.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late home. Rev. John Lentz, pastor of the Reformed church officiated. Interment was made in Harmony cemetery.

John married Matilda Diana Hoy, daughter of David Nicholas Hoy and Margaret J.
