Henry J. Bicher, 57, a Myerstown resident who was well-known throughout Lebanon County, died at 3 a.m. today in the Good Samaritan Hospital, where he had been a patient since Mar. 11.
Bicher, a lifelong Myerstown resident, was a son of the late Morris and Emma Spangler Bicher. He lived at 7 E. Jefferson Ave., Myerstown.
He and his wife, Mrs. Helen Fisher Bicher, operated the Bicher beverage distributing firm in Lebanon.
Bicher was a member of Frieden's Lutheran Church, Myerstown. He was a veteran of World War Two and was past commander of the Ira Ulrich American Legion Post 55 in Myerstown. He was also a past officer of the Fort et Eight Club.
He was active in many other organizations, including the Lebanon Elks Lodge, the Fraternal Order of Orioles, the Redmen, and the Goodwill and Keystone Fire Companies of Myerstown.
Beside his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Edna, wife of Allen Bomberger, Myerstown, and Phyllis, wife of C. Robert Barrett, Arcadia, Calif., and two brothers, George Bicher, Womelsdorf, and Morris Bicher, Myerstown RD 2.

Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
