Everyone was born in Indiana. George and Sarah's fathers were born in Pennsylvania, and their mothers in Ohio. George owned the home. George and Sarah were married 16 years, and 4 of her 5 children were alive in 1900. *While the Census index records Beicher, the handwriting on the census page might be Beecher.

5. Newspaper: Pharos-Tribune: funeral of Fern B. Ronk, 8 Sep 1930, Logansport, Cass, IN. 7 Walter V. Beecher, 2313 High street, and mother, Mrs. Sarah E. Beecher of Fulton, Ind., have returned from Twin Falls, Idaho, where they attended the funeral of their sister and daughter, respectively, Mrs. Fern B. Ronk, who died following a protracted illness.
Mrs. Ronk, who for three years was dean of women at Bridgewater College, Bridgewater, Virginia, was the wife of Rev. Charles W. Ronk, and was active in religious work. She was born in Cass county December 29, 1888, the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. George L. Beecher.
The husband, one daughter, three sons and a brother, Lyman Beecher of South Bend, Ind., also survive.

[Note: on 9 Sep 1930 the paper printed:] In the account of the death of Mrs. Fern B. Ronk, fomerly of Cass county, the name of Clinton Beecher, a brother residing in Bethlehem township, was unintentionally omitted form the list of survivors.


Wreatha married Rev. Charles Walter Ronk Sr., son of Jesse D. Ronk and Martha Jane Neff, on 28 Apr 1910 in , Cass, IN.1 (Rev. Charles Walter Ronk Sr. was born on 21 Sep 1885 in New Ross, Montgomery, IN,1 3 8 9 10 11 died on 9 May 1949 in Twin Falls, Twin Falls, ID 10 11 and was buried in Twin Falls: Sunset Memorial Park, Twin Falls, ID 11.)
