Everyone was born in Indiana. George and Sarah's fathers were born in Pennsylvania, and their mothers in Ohio. George owned the home. George and Sarah were married 16 years, and 4 of her 5 children were alive in 1900. *While the Census index records Beicher, the handwriting on the census page might be Beecher.

14. Newspaper: Pharos-Tribune: funeral of Fern B. Ronk, 8 Sep 1930, Logansport, Cass, IN. 24 Walter V. Beecher, 2313 High street, and mother, Mrs. Sarah E. Beecher of Fulton, Ind., have returned from Twin Falls, Idaho, where they attended the funeral of their sister and daughter, respectively, Mrs. Fern B. Ronk, who died following a protracted illness.
Mrs. Ronk, who for three years was dean of women at Bridgewater College, Bridgewater, Virginia, was the wife of Rev. Charles W. Ronk, and was active in religious work. She was born in Cass county December 29, 1888, the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. George L. Beecher.
The husband, one daughter, three sons and a brother, Lyman Beecher of South Bend, Ind., also survive.

[Note: on 9 Sep 1930 the paper printed:] In the account of the death of Mrs. Fern B. Ronk, fomerly of Cass county, the name of Clinton Beecher, a brother residing in Bethlehem township, was unintentionally omitted form the list of survivors.

Beecher, well known in the automotive business here, has been appointed local distributor of Dodge and Plymouth automobiles. He has leased the large garage and sales building at 516 High street for occupancy about February 1.
At this location the agency will give sales and service on Dodge cars, Dodge trucks and Plymouth cars, together with other makes of machines. Genuine parts for these two high grade cars will also be handled.
Mr. Beecher has been associated with the distribution of these two makes of automobiles for several years.
Expert mechanics are being secured for the service department of the new agency. A cordial welcome is extended to the public to visit the new sales and service departments on and after the opening date, which will be announced soon.

He has been identified in the automobile sales field in Logansport since 1920.
