3. Census in 1920 in Adams Twp., Cass, IN. ²⁰ The 1920 census recorded renting on M. Swank Road: Clinton Beecher, farmer, 35, living with wife Grace, 30; Merrill, 8; Elaine, 7; Evertt, 5; Marion, 3; and Maxine, 1. Everyone was born in Indiana. Next door is Clinton's uncle who owns his home, William Beecher, 51, with his wife Emma, 51, and son Kenneth W., 16.

5. Census in 1940 in Twelve Mile, Cass, IN. ²² The 1940 census recorded Clinton E. Beecher, farmer, 55, living with wife Grace H., 50; Carl E., farm hand, 18; Harriett L., 16; H. Larkin, 12; and Jean A. 10. Everyone was born in Indiana and lived in the same place in 1935.

7. Newspaper: Pharos-Tribune: Couple Marks 45th Anniversary (photo), 27 Jul 1954, Logansport, Cass, IN. ¹⁴ Mr. and Mrs. Clinton E. Beecher, of Winamac, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary with a family reunion Sunday, July 18, at the Winamac City park.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Beecher were born in Cass county and were married at their present home by the Reverend Daniel Hopkins on July 15, 1939.
Mrs. Beecher is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Condon and her husband is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Beecher, all of Cass county.
They are the parents of nine children: Merrill, LaCrosse; Mrs. Elaine Shafer, Royal Center; Everett, Wanatah, Indiana; Marion, Royal Center; Mrs. Maxine Johnson, city; Carr, Denver; Mrs. Harriett Morris, city; Larkin, Macy; and Mrs. Jean Grable, Twelve Mile.
They also have 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Plans were made during the day to hold a reunion each year on or near the couple's anniversary. Officers elected were Carr Beecher, president, and Mrs. Harriet Morris, secretary.

8. Obituary: The News-Sentinel: Grace Beecher Dies At Home on 14 Mar 1955 in Rochester, Fulton, IN. Mrs. Grace C. BEECHER, 65, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday at her home on R.R. 3, Peru, following three years' illness. She had lived at this residence her entire life. The daughter of Larkin and Mary Elizabeth (WALLACE) CONDON, she was born in Cass county Sept. 8, 1889. On July 15, 1909, she was married to Clinton E. BEECHER. Mrs. Beecher, who formerly taught school in Fulton, Cass and Miami counties, was a member of the Corinth Brethren church and the W.M.S. Survivors are her husband, at home and the following children: Mrs. Elaine SHAFER of Royal Center; George E. [BEECHER], of Wanatah; Marion W. [BEECHER], of Royal Center; Mrs. Emma Maxine JOHNSON of Logansport; Carr E. [BEECHER], of Denver; Mrs. Harriett L. MORRIS, of Logansport; Gerald LARKIN, of Rocester, and Mrs. Gene GRABLE, of Twelve Mile. Also surviving are two brothers, Irvin CONDON of Plymouth, and Ralph CONDON of Culver; twenty-two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Final rites will be held 2 p.m. CST Tuesday at the Corinth Brethren church with the Reverends C. A. STEWART and John TURLEY officiating. Burial will be in the Mexico Greenlawn cemetery. The body was removed from the McCain funeral home to the Beecher residence where friends may call.

Beecher, 66, who died March 12, 1955, consists of $16,000 in real estate, it was reported when it was opened with the filing of her will for probate. The estate goes to her husband, Clinton, who also was named executor of the will, dated Jan 24. this year. Miller and Barbcock are the attorneys for the estates.

Others, attending were: Carr Beecher, president; Dorthann Beecher, secretary, of Denver, and granddaughters of Butto. Mont.; Rich Robbins and family, Denver; Maxine Beecher, Indianapolis; Laverne Beecher and family, Elwood; Fred Beecher and family and Terry Beecher and family, LaCrosse. Also. Bruce Beecher and family, Eugene Beecher and family and Everett Beecher and family, Wanatah; John Doll and family, Mary Doll and Jackie Culver and John Jr., Union Mills; Randy Pickering and family, Valparaiso; Jim Morris and family, Bryan, Ohio; Frank Brown and family, Mr. and Mrs. Larkin Beecher ,-and Sherry and Shirley, Rochester; and Mr, and Mrs. Merrill Grable, Twelve Mile.
