Both Mr. and Mrs. Beecher were born in Cass county and were married at their present home by the Reverend Daniel Hopkins on July 15, 1939.
Mrs. Beecher is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Condon and her husband is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Beecher, all of Cass county.
They are the parents of nine children: Merrill, LaCrosse; Mrs. Elaine Shafer, Royal Center; Everett, Wanatah, Indiana; Marion, Royal Center; Mrs. Maxine Johnson, city; Carr, Denver; Mrs. Harriett Morris, city; Larkin, Macy; and Mrs. Jean Grable, Twelve Mile.
They also have 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Plans were made during the day to hold a reunion each year on or near the couple's anniversary. Officers elected were Carr Beecher, president, and Mrs. Harriet Morris, secretary.

21. Obituary: on 3 Apr 1969 in Rochester, Fulton, IN, USA. 2 Clinton E. BEECHER, 84, North Manchester, died at 5:30 a.m. today at the Wabash county hospital in Wabash after an illness of four years. The son of George E. and Sarah E. FISHER BEECHER, he was born in Adams township of Cass county Feb. 9, 1885.

He was married July 15, 1909 in Adams township to Grace CONDON, who died March 12, 1955. On April 18, 1950, he was married in North Manchester to Blanch BUTCHER, who survives. He had lived in North Manchester 10 years, moving there from Twelve Mile. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Corinth Brethren church at Twelve Mile.

Also surviving are the following children, Mrs. Elaine SHAFER, Royal Center; George Everett [BEECHER], Wanatah; Marion W. [BEECHER], Royal Center; Mrs. Maxine JOHNSON, Logansport; Carr E. [BEECHER], Denver; Mrs. Harriett L. MORRIS, Logansport; Harold Larkin [BEECHER], R.R. 1, Rochester; Mrs. Jean GRABILL, Twelve Mile; two step-children, Mrs. Lavone GROSNICKLE, North Manchester, and Galen BUTCHER, Servia; twenty-six grandchildren; twenty great-brandchildren, and two brothers, Walter and Lyman [BEECHER], both of Logansport. A son, a sister and a brother preceded in death.

Last rites will be at the McCain country chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. G. Bright HANNA, officiating. Burial will be in the Mexico Greenlawn cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
