Mr. and Mrs. John J. "Jack" Morris, 2510 Hillside Drive, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Dec 27. They will celebrate with an open house from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Carousel Restaurant.
Jack Morris and Harriett Beecher were married Dec 26, 1942, at St. Vincent's Recotory, by the Rev. John P. Schall.
He is retired from Conrail Railroad, and she is retired from the First National Bank of Logansport.
The couple have three children, Jean Ann Klepinger, Logansport, John Michael, Rio Rancho, N. M., and James, Alexandria, Ky. They also have seven grandchildren and two great-grandsons. It is requrested that gifts be omitted.

A funeral Mass for Harriett Leah Morris, 82, of Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in All Saints Catholic Church.
She died at 7 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, in her residence.
Born June 14, 1923, in Cass County, she was the daughter of Clinton and Grace Condon Beecher. She was married Dec. 26, 1942, in Logansport, to John J.
"Jack" Morris, who survives.
Mrs. Morris retired in 1982 from the National Bank of Logansport.
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and All Saints Ladies Society.
Harriett was a mother that gave her all to her children and grandchildren. She always had time to listen and help.
She loved to fish, garden and crochet. In the last years, she enjoyed the addition of her great-grandchildren. Until recently, she volunteered at the All Saints
Parish office on a regular basis.
Also surviving are two sons, John M. Morris and his wife, Mary Frances, Greenville, Texas, and James Morris and his wife, Mary, Alexandria, Ky.; one
daughter, Jean Klepinger and her husband, Fred, Logansport; one brother, Larkin Beecher and his wife, Norma Jean, Logansport; one sister, Jean Grable,
Twelve Mile; grandchildren, Elizabeth Cook, Julieanna Gibson, Jim Klepinger and his wife, Casie, Joseph Morris, Andrew Morris and his wife, Stacey, Eric
Klepinger and Megan Morris; great-grandchildren, Christopher Gibson, Michael Morris, Fontana Cook, Hunter Klepinger and Olivia Little; and a number of
nieces and nephews.
Two sisters and four brothers preceded in death.
Fathers Michael McKinney and Christopher Weldon will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Kroeger Funeral Home, where a Scripture service will be conducted at 7 p.m. with Deacon Juan Rodriguez
officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Parish Building and Repair Fund, 112 E. Market St., Logansport IN 46947.
