Mrs. Pearl Mae Baughman, Mechanicsburg R. D. 2, died Saturday morning at the Carlisle Hospital. She was 71 years old. A daughter of the late John S. and Carrie Gilbert Beechcr, she was born May 13, 1890. She attended the Lutheran Church in Allen, and was a member of the Oakville Evangelical United Brethren Church. She is survived by her husband, Owen W. Baughman; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Pechart, Mechanicsburg R. D. 2; four sons, Claude B. Baughir.an, Roaring Spring; Paul W. and John W., both of Lemoyne, and Clair W., Mechanicsburg R. D. 9, Also surviving are three sisters. Miss Ella Beecher, Dickinson; Mrs. J. Marshall Rough, Piainfield and Mrs. Simon Rus-sel, Honey Brook, Chester County; five brothers, John Beecher, Dickinson; Herman Beecher, Camp Hill; Samuel A. Beecher. Shippensburg R. D. 2; Paul Beecher, Fayetteville R. P., and Earl Beecher, Walnut Bottom; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were beld Tuesday at 2 plm. from the Hoffman Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. William C. Jacobs officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
