Beecher, a former Potttown business man, died suddenly last night from a stroke at his residence, 3652 North Broad street, in Philadelphia, aged 74 years. He was a son of the late William Beecher and was formerly engaged in the grocery business and the furniture business here. He was a brother of Myers Beecher, this borough, and a brother-in-law of Colonel M. M. Missimer. Colemand Beecher, of Norristown, is a brother. He is survived by his wife, Sylvania, and an adopted daughter, Mrs. A. V. Millett, of Philadelphia. He is also survived by his step-mother, Mrs. Hiram C. Feger, now of Philadelphia. Funeral, Tuesday, Jan. 18, with interment in Edgewood Cemetery, this place.
