Charles' parents were born in Pennsylvania. Minnie's father was born in Indiana and mother in Illinois.

2. Census in 1930 in Peru, Miami, IN. 8 The 1930 census recorded at 356 East Fifth St.: Charles W. Beecher, bank treasurer, 57, living with Minnie C., teacher in public school, 52; Evelyn, 20; and twins Grace and Barbara, 18, both employed typing in school office. Everyone was born in Indiana. Occupation: Pharos-Tribune: Welfare Worker Plans Career As Missionary on 27 Dec 1937 in Peru, Miami, IN. 10 PERU, Ind., Dec. 27 -- Miss Barbara Beecher, who has been employed in the Miami county welfare department at the court house, has resigned that position to sail from New York city on January 14 for India, where she will be a Methodist missionary. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beecher and following her graduation from DePauw university took special missionary training at a college in Nashville, Tenn. Mrs. Charles Rich will fill the vacancy in the local office.

All were born in Indiana.

Newspaper: Pharos-Tribune: Peru Native, On Leave As Missonary, Talks at Peru Church Today, 19 Apr 1959, Peru, Miami, IN. 12 PERU -- Miss Barbara Beecher, a native of Peru, and who in recent years has been a Methodist missionary to India, will speak at the morning church service at the First Methodist Church, Sunday.
Miss Beecher, who has been on leave, will return to Lucknow, India, next month. She is treasurer of the Isabelle Thoburn College there.
Her father, Charles W. Beecher, who was treasurer at the Peru Trust Co. fo rmany years and who now lives at the Methodist Home, Warren, ind., will be present for the service.
A basket meal in their honor will be served at teh church dining hall at 12:30 p.m.
