Mr. and Mrs. Wiloughby Knerr of No. 17 North Madison street, were agreeably surprised Sunday by their children and friends with an elaborate turkey dinner in honor of their 40th wedding anniversary. The following were present: Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Kocher, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Moyer, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Kocher, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cavanaugh, Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Steckel, Arthur Schlegel, John A. Knerr, Harry Harring, Robert Knerr, John Dorward, Grace Knerr, Mr. and Mrs. Willoughby Knerr and George Knerr, of Wesciesville.

Obituary: Allentown Democrat: obituary of Willoughby Knerr on 26 Feb 1920 in Allentown, Lehigh, PA. ²² Willoughby Knerr was stricken suddenly and died immediately at noon yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harvey Kocher, No. 539 North Eleventh street. Heart disease was the cause. He was seventy-four years of age. His wife died eight years ago.
The surviving children are Mrs. Frank Steckel, Farmington; George E. Knerr, Emaus Route 7; Mrs. Harry Kocher, Allentown; Mrs. Oliver E. Kocher, Fogelsville; Robert J. Knerr, West Point; John A. Knerr, Pottstown; Mrs. Mildred Cavanaugh, Allentown; Mrs. Raymond Moyer and Grace Knerr, Allentown. There are also fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Deceased was a cement worker during this active years. Dr. J. T. Butz, health officer, was called in to issue a certificate, and death came before a physician could be summoned.

Obituary: Morning Call: Obituary of Willoughby Knerr on 26 Feb 1920 in Allentown, Lehigh, PA. ⁸ KNERR -- Suddenly in this city, Feb. 25, 1920, Willoughby Knerr, aged 74 years, 5 months and 5 days. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services in Cedarville Union Church on Sunday at 3 p. m. Interment in cemtery adjoining.
