Miss Sandra Ann Zagorski and Stanley A. Blewis, of Shenandoah, were united in marriage July 31 in St. Casimir's Church.
Rev. Vita J. Martusevich, first cousin of the bridegroom, of St. George s parish, Philadelphia, performed the double-ring ceremony and celebrated the Nuptial Mass. Altar vases contained tinted-blue daisies and fern.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Zagorski, 114 North Ferguson street. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley W. Blewis, 305 South Ferguson street.
"Ave Maria" and other appropriate wedding selections were offered by St. Cecilia's Choir under direction of Prof. I. Czuprinski.
Accompanied to the altar by her father, the bride wore a gown of Venetian lace and silk organza styled for Sally Wallace of New York. The organza bodice featured a square neckline with Venetian lace ruffle trim at the Empire waistline and the elbow-length sleeved. The floor length sheath was of Venetian lace. The detachable chapel train of organza was also trimmed with Venetian lace. Her double-tier bouffant veil of imported illusion was ar ranged on a forward petalled headpiece of matching lace accented with pearls and crystals. She carried an orchid centered with red roses and white, baby carnations.
Miss Kosemane Wowak, a friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Elaine Beacher, cousin of the bride, and Mrs. John Blewis, sister-in-law of the bridegroom.
John Zagorski, brother of the bride, served as best man. Ushers were Robert Bugden, a friend and John Blewis, brother of the bridegroom.
The attendants were dressed alike in floor length sheath gowns, the Empire bodice of raspberry brocade featured a scoop neckline and elbow length sleeves. The slim skirt of pink crepe was accented by a raspberry brocade Watteau panel, extending from a large bow in back. They wore a double Dior pink crepe bow with tiered bouffant veil and carried cascades of American Beauty roses and pink, baby carnations.
The men in the wedding party wore Tony Martin tuxedos and white rosebud boutonnleres.
A wedding breakfast was served to the bridal party at DeTurk's Restaurant. A recep tion followed at the William Penn Fire Co.
For her wedding trip to New York City the bride chose a smart brown and white silk organza ensemble accented with white accessories and a white orchid corsage.
Mrs. Zagorski, mother of the bride, received guests in a yellow chiffon dress. She wore white accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. The mother of the bridegroom was attired in a peacock blue sheath with accessories to match. Her corsage was of tinted-blue rose buds.
The newlyweds were graduated from Shenandoah Catholic High School. Mr. Blewis is employed by Bethlehem Steel Co. They will reside at 2054-2 Westfield Terrace, Bethlehem.
Out of town guests were from Buffalo, N.Y., Philadelphia, New Jersey, Harrisburg and Maryland.
