Mrs. Anna B. Johnson, 82, a native of Rush County, expired Monday morning at 2:10 o'clock in the Clara Fairbanks Home for Aged Women at Terre Haute. Mrs. Johnson left Rushville for residence in the home several years ago. She was the widow of Fred B. Johnson who operated a drug store in North Main Street for many years. Mrs. Johnson was born in Rush County on January 6, 1868, and she was a daughter of Edward and Mahala Havens Beher. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Only survivors are two grandsons, Fred Hubbard of Tacoma, Wash., and Ward B. Hubbard of Highpoint, N. C. Funeral services will be held in the Isaac Ball Funeral Home in Terre Haute Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. Mr. Peters of the Fourth Avenue Methodist Church officiating. Dr. J. T. Scull will conduct short rites at 3 o'clock in East Hill Cemetery where burial will be made.
