Suffering a heart attack at his home, 711 New Road, Elsmere, yesterday afternoon, Marshall H. Rambo, 49 years old, a county policeman for 16 years, died shortly after a doctor reached him. Although in poor health nearly a year, he had continued to work and was preparing to go on duty when stricken. Officer Rambo came to Wilmington about 40 years ago from Elkton, Md. In former years he was employed at the old Diamond State Fire Company at Elsmere and for several years was a constable in that section. He had been active in Republican politics and was a member of the Union Methodist Church and the Elsmere Fire Company. His wife, Mrs. Margaret A. Rambo, and a son, Paul P. Rambo, Elsmere, survive. The funeral will be from the home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in Silverbrook Cemetery.

Marshall married Margaret Ann Sanderson, daughter of James Sanderson and Mary, on 25 Mar 1914 in Elsmere, New Castle, DE.
