He was born in Allentown, Pa., and currently resided in Skillman. He practiced otolaryngology in Princeton. He was an attending physician at The Medical Center at Princeton and was an assistant professor at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick. Dr. Behringer graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania and Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia. He was a member of American Medical Association, a member of N.J. Academy of Opthalmology and Otolaryngology, a member of The Pennsylvania Academy of Opthalmology and Otolaryngology and The Philadelphia Society of Facial Plastic Surgery. He was a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow with American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology. Son of the late Dr. William Behringer. he is survived by his mother, Myra Behringer of New York City: two brothers, Lewis Behringer of Allentown, Pa. and Jeff Behringer of Wiliamsburg, Va.: a sister, Janet Grill of Pittsburg, Pa., and a dear friend Nancy Nemhauser of Skillman. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Miller Chapel of Princeton Theological Seminary, Mercer Street, Princeton. Memorial contributions may be made to the William H. Behringer Memorial Fund, in care of The Medical Center at Princeton, 253 Witherspoon St., Princeton Borough, 085-10. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kimble Funeral Home, 1 Hamilton Ave., Princeton Borough. 3.
