1. Obituary: Allentown Morning Call on 7 Jun 1989. 2 Dr. William H. Behringer, 46, an otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat specialist), of Skillman, N.J., formerly of Allentown, died Friday in St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, N.J.

Behringer practiced in Princeton, N.J., and also was an attending physician at the Medical Center at Princeton. In addition, he was an assistant professor at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, and at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Behringer previously specialized in reconstructive surgery at the Wilmington (Del.) Veterans Administration Hospital.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Myra (Bury) Behringer of New York City and the late Dr. William H. Behringer Jr.

He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College and Temple University Medical School. He was a diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Survivors: Mother; brothers, Lewis of Allentown and Jess of Williamsburg, Va.; sister, the Rev. Janet Grill of Pittsburgh, and Nancy Nemhauser, with whom he resided.

Services: Were Monday in West Windsor, N.J. Memorial services 11 a.m. Friday, Miller Chapel of Princeton Theological Seminary. Arrangements, Kimble Funeral Home, Princeton.
