Lyman Edgar Beecher, 77, of 2127 Smead, died at 4:22 p.m. Friday at Memorial Hospital.
Born in Twelve Mile, Dec. 13, 1896, he was the son of George and Sarah Fisher Beecher. He was married to March 4, 1921 to Sylvia See.
He was a retired employe of Sears, Roebuck and Co.
Survivng with his wife are one son, George Edgar, Warsaw; one daughter, Mrs. Jenimae Hunter, 1419 E. Broadway; one brother, Walter, 2313 High St., and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Fisher Funeral Home, the Rev. Melvin Seeger officiating. Burial will be in the Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
