Mrs. Maria Beecher, widow of Philip Beecher died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. W. Pechart at Hays Grove on Wednesday evening of last week, aged 75. She is survived by the following children. Samuel and John Beecher, of Hockersville, Edward Beecher, of York county, Mrs. David Snoke, near Hays Grove, Mrs. E. W. Pechart, of Hays Grove. She has also one sister in III. and Anson Fleegor, of Steelstown, is her brother, Her funeral was held on Saturday, interment in Hays Grove cemetery.
