Mr, Beecher was a self employed carpenter and was a member of Big Spring Lodge 361; Harrisburg Consistory; Hub City Club of Shippensburg; Minneque Social Club of Shippensburg; and was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. In addition to his widow, he Is survived by three daughters, Mrs. JoAnn C. Ashburn, Reading; Mrs. Jack (Donna) Nye, R.R. 1, Shippensburg; Mrs. Rand (Sally) Kann, R.R. 1, Newville; two sons, Robert L. Beecher, R.R. 1. Newville; David E. Beecher, a student at Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Viola Russell, Honeybrook; and three brothers, Samuel Beecher, R.R. 1, Shippensburg; Herman Beecher. Camp Hill; Paul Beecher, Shippensburg. The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Frank C. Egger Funeral Home, 15 Big Spring Ave., Newville with the Rev. Robert Griffith officiating. Burial will be in the Newville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Masonic services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. 16.
