Miss Beecher was born on June 12, 1924, in Monroe Township, Cumberland County, the daughter of the later Herman D. and Anna Woods Beecher.

She was a 1942 graduate of the former Lemoyne High School and a retired employee of the Bell Telephone Co.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Wormleysburg and belonged to the Bell Telephone Pioneers. She enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by several cousins.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, in the Musselman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 324 Hummel Ave., Lemoyne. A viewing will be held from 1 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Township.
